L’ostéopathie est une médecine alternative manuelle qui permet de soulager des troubles fonctionnels et les douleurs dues à plusieurs conditions pathologiques comme:
- les hernies discales
- les lombalgies chroniques ou aiguës
- les cervicalgies et torticolis
- les céphalées et migraines
- les épicondylites / syndromes du canal carpien/ entorses de chevilles et de genoux
troubles fonctionnels des accidents de travail - douleurs musculo-squelettiques de la femme enceinte
- etc.
L’ostéopathie est également utilisée en pédiatrie, en réhabilitation post opératoire, et en gériatrie. Cette approche connaît un essort au Québec à cause de son efficacité et le sérieux de sa formation qui demande entre 5 et 8 années d’étude.
